Nicole Kettwick’s client was pulled over when State Patrol Dispatch received a complaint that a vehicle swerving from lane to lane, almost causing accidents while traveling northbound on interstate 35W. Nicole’s client admitted to consuming vodka, had red eyes and was moving slowly. She took a Preliminary Breath Test on the scene, she blew a 0.26, more than three times the legal limit. She had a prior DWI on her record within the past ten years but despite the facts, Nicole was able to negotiate with the Prosecutor and get the charges down from a Second Degree DWI to a Third Degree DWI. That means that her client’s vehicle was not subject to forfeiture and she was able to get it back.
