      Dani Successfully Challenges her Client’s Denial of their Permit to Carry Application

      Result: Dani’s client faced difficulties obtaining a conceal and carry license due to an erroneous note made by the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) in the client’s previous files. After contacting the Fridley Police Department, the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office, and the BCA and explaining the various details and legal issues in the case, Dani was able to have her client’s file reviewed and corrected. As a result, Dani was able to restore her client’s right to obtain their conceal and carry license.

      Firearm Rights Restored in Hennepin County

      Result: Dani’s client was originally convicted of fifth degree controlled substance possession in Hennepin County for an incident from over 10 years ago. Due to the nature of the crime, her client was denied the ability to purchase a firearm for their lifetime. Dani and her client worked together to petition the court to restore his rights to possess a firearm, seeking help from his family for support. After filing the proper paperwork and arguing the client’s reasons for wanting to possess firearms, the Court granted their petition. Now, her client will have the opportunity to pick up his hobby of competitive shooting again and pass the sport along to his children.
