Nicole’s client was charged in Andover, Anoka County, with two counts of Third Degree Driving while Impaired and one count of Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident after she crashed into a city utility vehicle and blew a 0.28 at 9:00 a.m. on a Tuesday morning.

Nicole helped her client find a treatment program, begin attending AA meetings, and even connected her with a former client that has overcome similar problems and now acts as a support system and mentor for women trying to overcome alcohol dependency.

As a result, Nicole was able to successfully negotiate with the prosecutor to dismiss the Leaving the Scene of an Accident charge and avoid her client serving any additional jail time.
