Result: Nicole’s juvenile client was charged in Hennepin County with careless driving and speeding after driving 20 MPH over the speed limit and not utilizing turn signals. Due to the proactive steps her client took, Nicole was able to negotiate a continuance for dismissal for the speeding charge and a dismissal of the careless driving charge. The continuance for dismissal will allow the juvenile’s speeding charge to be automatically dismissed if they successfully meet certain conditions.
