Case: Gun Rights
Attorney: Dani Peden
Result: Dani’s client was previously convicted of Misdemeanor Fifth Degree Domestic Assault in Scott County. Her client was later denied the right to purchase a firearm. After performing an investigation, Dani realized her client’s conviction was being misinterpreted, thus resulting in the loss of her client’s right to possess firearms. Dani reached out to the Court in order to correct the issue with her client’s sentencing order. Despite the prosecutor’s objection, she was able to get the Court to amend her client’s sentencing order which fixed the issues her client was having. Her client can now legally purchase a firearm.
