Dani joined Brandt Kettwick Defense as an associate attorney in 2018 with prior experience on both sides of criminal law. While in law school, she worked for two years with the Tenth Judicial District Public Defender’s Office and represented clients through every stage of the criminal justice system. She also worked in the office of Giancola & Durkin and conducted extensive research on various areas of criminal law. Immediately prior to working at Brandt Kettwick Defense, she worked in the Anoka County Attorney’s office and assisted in prosecuting Felony cases through the criminal justice system. Throughout these experiences, Dani has handled hundreds of cases and co-chaired two felony jury trials. She has helped to negotiate resolutions and has argued and won favorable dispositions at the district court level.
Outside of Brandt Kettwick Defense, Dani is a firefighter with the Andover Fire Department and truly believes in helping individuals in need. This naturally expands to the criminal defense realm, and she will always strive to meet the needs of her clients.
Dani received her Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and in the top 25% of her class. She was an assistant editor of Mitchell Hamline Law Review for two years, allowing her to oversee the production of legal research papers. She also participated in the Rosalie Wahl Moot Court, where she was able to compete in appellate arguments.
