Nicole’s client was charged with domestic assault after he allegedly hit, and kicked his girlfriend while he was holding her down. According to the police officers, when the arrived on the scene he would not cooperate, and was resisting the officers, so much so they tasered him twice which lead to obstruction of legal process charges. After weeks of negotiations, the prosecutor agreed on the morning of jury trial to dismiss the obstruction charge and amend the domestic abuse charge to a disorderly conflict. Nicole’s client was placed on probation for one year.
