Nicole Kettwick represented a client who had a Harassment Restraining Order filed against him in Anoka County. The Petitioner alleged that her client’s actions had a “substantial adverse effect on the safety, security, or privacy” of the Petitioner. A trial was held whereby the Petitioner presented her case. Nicole cross examined all of the Petitoner’s witnesses and put on her own witness. At the end of the tiral, the Judge agreed with Nicole and determined there were not enough factual findings to issue the Harassment Restraining Order. Nicole and her client won their case thereby avoiding any potential charges in the future.
